How do different cultures celebrate their traditions? An individual’s culture is represented by the historial, social, religious, and idealistic values that matter most to them. Globalization has slowly broken the borders of cultural disconnectivity, and it is important to have the eagerness and willingness to learn of the similarities and differences of unfamiliar customs with your own. My collection of art reflects my inquiry as I explore how place, object, and dress are all a way in which groups of people celebrate, yet are all very unique practices.
